{"id":105,"date":"2024-03-29T10:54:32","date_gmt":"2024-03-29T09:54:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/museoparcoarcheologicocecina.visitcecina.com\/sale-iii-iv-3-4\/"},"modified":"2024-07-01T16:08:13","modified_gmt":"2024-07-01T14:08:13","slug":"halls-iii-iv-3-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/museoparcoarcheologicocecina.visitcecina.com\/en\/halls-iii-iv-3-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Halls III &#8211; IV | 3 \u2013 4"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On the right there is the tomb A, belonging to the founder of the family, a real Etruscan prince.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The structure of the tomb \u2013 a large chest of stone slabs \u2013 is entirely similar to that of the most important tombs in Volterra; a large container of terracotta was placed inside it, intended to contain and protect the bronze cinerary. Inside the cinerary there were some personal belongings: silver bracelets, ivory and amber necklaces, silver and gold fibulas; as well as the remains of a silver plate which must have covered the cremated remains of the deceased wrapped in a linen cloth (both still visible).<\/p>\n<p>Outside there were the grave goods, which during the funeral were supposed to describe the identity of the deceased.
