{"id":103,"date":"2024-03-29T11:03:08","date_gmt":"2024-03-29T10:03:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/museoparcoarcheologicocecina.visitcecina.com\/sala-i-1\/"},"modified":"2024-07-01T16:08:28","modified_gmt":"2024-07-01T14:08:28","slug":"hall-i-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/museoparcoarcheologicocecina.visitcecina.com\/en\/hall-i-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Hall I | 1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the right are shown well-preserved gifts from the Copper age (ca. 3.000-2.000 BC), composed by copper and stone weapons from a tomb found near Guardistallo, which testify the beginning of the exploitation of the copper mines of the Cecina river valley.<\/p>\n<p>The tomb found near Guardistallo is certainly one of the most important testimonies of the Copper Age throughout the Volterra area. The burial, discovered at the end of the 19th century, consisted of a pit protected by stone slabs.
